  • I love the events industry because… no two days are ever the same. I’ve produced python bath activations, built billboards made from burgers, and produced events from Hamilton Island to NZ.
  • I start my day… at 5.30am with a coffee and cuddle with my Labrador named Bear, whilst watching the morning news, before the rest of my family wake up. It’s the best part of my day. Once that coffee kicks in, and I’ve had 20 minutes to wake up properly, I’m ready for anything.
  • My secret weapon to get me through life is… positivity and a confidence. I’m that person who drives right to the venue door expecting there to be a carpark. Usually works out most of the time 😊
  • The best part of my job… has to be my clients and suppliers. It makes work so enjoyable being surrounded by like-minded people who work hard and look out for each other.
  • I couldn’t live without… my school mum tribe. I have the most incredible group of friends who are fellow mums from my daughter’s school. We often share failed parenting moments, which always makes us feel better about the constant work/life/parenting juggle, and the ongoing little daily fails. We look out for each other and each other’s children; they keep me sane and always laughing.
  • I am inspired by… my late Grandma Molly. She had a wicked sense of humour, but lived a very happy yet simple life. She’s my constant reminder that we should be grateful for the little things in life, and that laughter really is the best medicine.
  • My dream job as a kid… was to be an air hostess. Then when I realised there were height restrictions, so I changed my dream job to a travel reporter. Move over Katriona Rowntree.
  • My most used emoji is… the monkey with his hands over his eyes, or the person cartwheeling.
  • Something most people don’t know about me is… I worked in childcare before events, I’ve spent a month living in Nice at an intensive French language school, I poured milk in the other kids’ shoes in pre-school whilst they were sleeping and got expelled, and I dream of one day living in Italy.
  • If I had a theme song that followed me down the street, it would be… Riding along on my pushbike, honey, when I noticed you… Haha, I don’t know the name, but love that song!
