Turning insurance on its head

At Flying Ruby Events we like to look at things a little differently, which is why we were very excited to be a part of a project that was turning home insurance on its head… with an upside-down house. With its topsy-turvy, bright pink kitchen and sunshine yellow bathroom (complete with freestanding bath filled with rubber ducks), each room was a mind-bending feast for the eyes… and a treat for the social feed.

We enjoyed collaborating closely with Honey Insurance, as well as the lead creative Emma Delaney, who designed and styled each space, and Alchemy, who were responsible for developing and building the house from scratch. Our role was to manage the operations and logistics of three locations – in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne – from bump in and out, council liaison and contracting, waste management, activation staffing, security, production of signage and collateral. Hey, we even helped out with the painting at one point! Watching a project like this come to life on site is the best part of the job – it’s why we love what we do.
